How to Donate Your Car
Donating your car to help veterans is easy. The New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers (NMVIC) accepts car donations, truck donations, motorcycle donations, and other vehicle donations from anywhere in the United States. If you’re looking for a simple way to donate a car to veterans, just call us at (505) 239-0850 or complete the online form above.

Our veterans car donation program makes the process simple. We will schedule a convenient pickup time, tow the vehicle at no cost, and provide you with the documentation you need for your tax-deductible vehicle donation. Your donation helps support programs that provide housing, food assistance, and life-changing services for veterans experiencing homelessness.

We accept nearly any type of vehicle donation, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, boats, ATVs, utility vehicles, farm equipment, airplanes, and trailers. Whether your vehicle is running, non-running, or wrecked, you can still donate your vehicle to help veterans.

Here are a few scenarios that our donors often find themselves in:

Scenario 1: It’s time to trade in Ol’ Betsy, your trusty pickup truck. Unfortunately, the dealer is only offering a few hundred dollars for your trade. Instead, you can donate your truck to help veterans, receive a minimum $500 tax deduction, and know that your vehicle donation for veterans is helping provide clothing and support services.
Scenario 2: Aunt Martha gave you Ralph, her 1976 Ford Pinto. It’s been sitting for years, and you can’t find the title. No problem. Our car donation program for veterans accepts vehicles running or not, and sometimes even without a title. When you donate a car to NMVIC, the proceeds help veterans access housing and essential services.

Scenario 3: You’ve been in a fender bender, and the insurance company wants to total your convertible. Instead of letting it go to waste, you can donate your wrecked car to veterans. Many donors receive a tax deduction for their vehicle donation, and the proceeds help veterans receive basic necessities and support.

We're Non-Profit: NMVIC is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning your vehicle donation or car donation to veterans may qualify for a tax deduction.
Free Vehicle Pickup: When you donate your car to NMVIC, we provide free towing anywhere. Whether your vehicle is at home, work, or a repair shop, our vehicle donation pickup service makes the process easy.
Income Tax Deduction: After your vehicle donation, you’ll receive an IRS tax receipt. We work to sell donated vehicles for the highest possible value so your car donation tax deduction is maximized.
